Description: The SAPS Case Management & Translation System is a comprehensive digital platform for the South African Police Service that combines case tracking and multilingual statement collection. The system features: (1) an admin dashboard for uploading and monitoring officer case loads via CSV (with DataTables.js visualization), (2) a live translation interface using Azure Cognitive Services to transcribe/translate victim statements between Afrikaans, English, and other SA languages in real-time (Web Speech API), and (3) secure data handling with download/export capabilities. Designed with SAPS branding (police badge UI elements, blue/gold theme), it streamlines investigations by digitizing manual processes—from initial victim interviews (via browser-based audio recording) to case assignment tracking—while maintaining chain-of-custody through encrypted client-side processing.
